Jayne Chace
Jayne Chace is an international executive with over 15 years experience in business development, strategic marketing, branding and communications. She has global expertise in all aspects of management from concept through delivery, developing and penetrating new and emerging markets, re-positioning professional services and solution portfolios to develop new revenue streams, improving client relationships and as a change-agent. She gained her global management experience working primarily in the technology industry sector for such companies as Digital, Oracle, Nortel, Cadence, Siemens and Unisys, but has also worked for start-ups and a business accelerator.
Currently Jayne is capitalising on her varied expertise by serving as a Non-Executive Board Director and through consulting roles: with corporations on female leadership and diversity, with venture capital portfolio companies for global growth and with universities to commercialise IP.
Prior to moving into the corporate world, Jayne was a university history professor in the USA, having earned her graduate degrees in history. While in academia, Jayne was selected by the US government to help shape the educational curriculum in history and social studies for high school and university level degrees. Additionally, the Educational Testing Board and the College Entrance Examination Board selected her to assess and revise the official achievement tests administered to millions of American students each year as part of the qualifications for entering college.
Jayne grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, but has lived in several countries including Germany, Japan and The Netherlands, and has dual US/UK citizenship. Combining her global business experience, history knowledge and personal mobility, she has acquired a sensitivity to cultural nuances and often mentors other executives who move to new countries with cross-border responsibilities and need to "hit the ground running". Jayne speaks at conferences, has authored and been quoted in several books and magazines, and been selected for Who’s Who many times.
